Welcome to SportsCity Heatwave Softball.
 
2021/2022 Teams are formed for 12u, 14u, 16u (2 teams) and 18u with eleven or twelve players.  

However, teams are looking for 1-2 additional players to round out their rosters.  Contact coaches directly by email for a private tryout:

• 14u Team - Contact Coach O'Brien

• 16u Team - Contact Coach Berenson (soft exposure team)

• 16u Team - Contact Coach Fullington

• 18u Team - Contact Coach Houston

Our travel program provides an excellent travel softball experience, with a host of benefits at a reasonable cost.  Our program includes:

• 2021/2022 Teams:  12u, 14u, 16u (2 teams), and 18u​

  • 16U Purple will be a Soft Exposure team.  

• Extensive professional training for players and coaches from Teresa & Rob Neel, Co-Presidents and trainers for McHenry County Heatwave since 2010.  

• Speed & Agility / Strength & Conditioning Team Weekly Training at Davis Speed Center in Crystal Lake

• Experience coaching staff at each team level.

• Full Spring, Summer, and Fall tournament schedule (up to 8 tournaments)

• Team Indoor training at SportsCity Academy twice per week.  

• And a full Membership at SportsCity Academy through July 31, 2022 including UNLIMITED hitting in our Iron Mike batting cages, and FREE use of unreserved SportsCity tunnel and field time as available.
